As a devout Catholic, Pat Tobin wanted to support her faith while also giving back to the priests who have helped her so much. She reflected, “Without the priests in my life growing up, I would not have turned out to be the person I am today.”
By including the Clergy Health and Retirement Trust (CHRT) in her will, Pat found the perfect way to contribute to the health and well-being of priests long into the future. Through her parents’ involvement in their church and her Catholic schools, Pat and her family became close with their parish priests growing up. “These were really good people who sacrificed for us,” Pat said. Impressed by their work and care for the priests of our Archdiocese, Pat decided to include CHRT in her estate plan to help ensure these hardworking priests have a comfortable retirement.
